When my contour is idleing like at a stop light or something, it sounds and acts like it is going to choke down but it never fully shuts off. Anyone have any idea what that could be? I don't really have a good way of describing it

if the idle is dropping, sputtering then recovering (possibly surging higher than normal afterwards) then repeating: Check your IAC. Search on that..

Zetec? I had that problem with my Zetec, ended up the timing was off on one of the Camshafts, [censored] DOHC
After spending a whole day to ensure it was perfect, it runs much better now
