you can use the svt gaskets. you should get a returnless lim from any 2000 and newer duratec, and an svt throttlebody.

Just change the fuel rail on the LIM to stay return style. 2000 had the best flow.

Your post states you want to put the SVT UIM onto the SE UIM. There is an UIM and LIM, Are you trying to put the SVT UIM and LIM on your SE, or SVT UIM on the SE LIM or a combo like that. Also in your signature, you have a 99 4 cyl. and a 97 6 cyl. If you have a 97 6 cylinder motor, the SVT UIM and LIM will bolt right up without changing around the fuel rail if you use a 98 or early 99 SVT UIM and LIM. If you use the later 99 or 2000 SVT UIM, there are no problems. If you use the later 99 or 2000 SVT LIM, you can use the return style fuel rail.
Someone with more experience, may have a better answer, but good luck.

To be quite honest with you...I put a 2000 UIM on my 1995 including a ported SVT TB. I really couldn't tell the difference and I paid like $500 for all the parts. It's cheaper just to buy nitrous. At least with that your car will be capable of running 14's even high 13's if it's running well and you're a good driver.
Other than that...get a supercharger or turbo. Don't waste your money trying to gain 10 HP.
Oh...and your gaskets will work for the SVT UIM.

99 SE,
You should be able to gain an additional 10 HP relatively easily if you are willing to do the work yourself. Excluding the UIM/LIM, you could optimize your TB and a better air cleaner set up, gut the precats, and remove the resonator and should net you an easy 10 hp. You should be able to do those 3 things for under $100 bucks if you do it yourself. The biggest cost would be the intake.
