Hey All,
I just purchased a 2002 Windstar. It came with the AM/FM Cassette, with CD controller capabilities. I checked with Ford and a CD changer is over $1000.00 My question is, is there a aftermarket changer that can be controlled by this head unit .... or is there any Windstar user groups.

Yes there are many different types of aftermarket changers that can be controlled by your radio. They are called FM modulator's. Basically you turn your stereo to a designated FM (blank) station then control your changer with supplied remote. Some even let you use your own controls, depends on how much you want to spend.

Check this out....not sure they have the best deals but it'll give you some idea...actually the prices aren't too bad.

Give Crutchfield a call at (888)955-6000. They'll be able to hook you up with a changer and an adapter which will let you control the changer through your factory stereo (instead of FM modulation).

might want to go into a circuit city or Best Buy as well, they should have some compatible changers that just plug and play, they do exist!
