Hi everyone:
Im doing a skit with two other guys that involves one of the characters being a Jimi Paige/Jimi Hendrix wanna-be. (Im going to portray a talent agency director.)
In the skit, the Hendrix character is going to hold a guitar and from time to time, break out with a short (5-10 second) guitar solo. Were going to use a recorded (probably mp3 solo) of some classic heavy metal artist. Im not much into music, but I remember there were some classic guitar intros to songs from ACDC, Led Zeplin, etc. Unfortunately, I cant remember the song titles.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good guitar clip? Im looking for something short like you might have seen on the Waynes World skits on Saturday Night Live.
Suggestions?

Thunderstruck has the best intro from AC/DC.
Otherwise anything from Joe Satriani

Anything from the current (original) chili peppers guitarist, slash from his guns n' roses days (november rain anyone??), and the above mentioned stuff.

Some of Steve Vai's stuff should qualify and Satriani is a no-brainer. I've also got a weakness for anything that Stevie Ray Vaugh put out ("Supersticion" or "Mary Had a Little Lamb" ring a bell?) Those are fairly modern, though.
Early Clapton (Layla comes to mind), Zepplin (Whole Lotta Love), Aerosmith (Walk This Way), Hendrix (Voodoo Child), Frampton, Queen (yes, Brian May is a kick-ass guitarist), Ted Nugent, Santana (especially "Black Magic Woman"), etc., etc...

Grab the last half of "Eruption" from Van Halen... It a little longer than 10 seconds, but it's VERY recognizable.
Or... just the first 15 seconds should be good enough.
If you need to d/l it. PM me.

Solo from Led Zeppelin's 'Heartbreaker'. Its just Page playing without the rest of the band, so it should be great for what you want it for.
