Does the Mazda6 use an MTX75?

If so, I was reading in Sport Compact Car about the MazdaSpeed6 and they said it has a new Mazda 6 speed manual that is the same size as the 5 speed in the base model 6

If this transmission was based on the MTX75, wouldn't that mean it could possibly fit in a 'tour?

Just wondering if anyone else saw or heard anything

I would say it's a new one, especially since it's AWD. But if you were to say, take the entire drivetrain, you'd have a unique Contour...

I want one...
