Again thanks to all you audio fans out there for the input. I am stuck between

Nakamichi 45Z, it's 20 bit D/A, simplicity and price @ $300 over the internet. or

Eclipse 5441, lots of features, great warranty @ $400, bought and installed locally at Tweeter. Thanks again

I'd still probably get the nak. There are some guys on here who swear by their JVC Digifine's though...

Not sure.. but if u got a lot of CDs that are burnt.. they won't work with the nakamichi.

My Alpine plays CDR's with no problem, but G'd forbid you had to skip a song or two,,you will grow old before the bugger makes up its mind...

Go for the deck with the look and features you want. Both are high quality products.

I could'nt agree with Dave more! Some say the Nak will not play CDR's, However thats all I play in my 45Z and have never had a skip or any other problems. Get the HU that fits your requirements and enjoy! smile

get a mother freakin alpine beotch, alpine is the shyt. i just installed a alpine 7893 best sound i have ever heard plus i got it for $200 retails for $352
those r the perks i get for working at circuit city.
