Hello, i have a 95 v-6 tour se it developed a weird sound from the first spark plug kinda a pop pop sound press on the plug wire it goes away was told to get new wires still pop pop HELP

seriously, can you try to explain that again?

secondly, this should be in the troubleshooting section.

third, have you replaced the wires or not? i cant tell. if not, maybe you are arcing through bad insulation or something of that nature. you have any other problems as well or just pop pop?

edit: maybe also a bad connection between the plug and wire and the arcing occuring between those two? that would make sense if you can push on the top of the wire and make it go away.

or im crazy, and i wont offer any more advice. none of this works anyway if you have replaced the wires

Sounds like the plug popped out.

From the description, or lack there of, you gave you should take it to a mechanic immediately.


2000 SVT #674 13.47 @ 102 - All Motor! It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.
