Yes 37.5W can perform like 300W, why? because of the power resistors. They are forcing more current from the amp, but not dissipating the gained wattage.
I needed to ensure a phase matched and powerful signal.
My SQ (RTA readings) increased signifigantly (from 32 to 38) by having both.
The BLT works with the ESP-2 to ensure a very defined "simulated" center channel.

Two Soundstream 10" subs with 150 RMS each, PNR ports, spare tire well enclosure, see profiles under Michael Robertson. I was hitting 142.1db at 32hz. I sold them to help mod the Contour.

Kirk Perry in VanWert, Ohio helped me tune it.

Go Dynaudio for SQ, and forget about it!
hehe..I bought them! Not running the same setup and only giving them 100 watts each. I think its loud but I'm afraid to get it metered because I'm afraid it won't be as loud as I think it is.

Has anybody (or know of anybody that has) ported their subs up through the rear deck into the rear window?

Mine is ported thru the rear deck, I'd link a pic but I'm in Iowa in route to Spring Zing.

MY99SVT,
I hope to be at SZ02 for Saturday.
Have not made arrangements for Sunday.
Have not been able to pull down the information on SZ, so I don't know what's planned.

Need some one to send me a screen dump of the planned activities.

WhiteSE,
TLR's are stated as Titanium (Ti). They have inverted domes with phase plug and wave-guides. Personally I think the domes are fiber treated with Ti. They look just like Silk domes that have been treated with a Polymer, but the poly was replace with Ti. They play from 2500 Hz to about 25k Hz with a PERFECTLY FLAT response on axis and nearly flat 30? off axis.
See http://www.focal.tm.fr/gb/car/utopia/tlr.htm

DBZJunior,
Focal Audiom TLR's at $900 and SEAS Excel's at $300 are normally not at a local dealer shop. The shop would or you would have to order them, as I did. I know Focal Sales Rep's and they don?t even keep TLR?s on hand.

For the best prices see http://www.zalytron.com/

They are mounted about half way up the A pillar firing basically at each other. They were flush mounted as well as they could be. Very nice install to integrate such large tweeters.

Looks like a solid system. Got any pics?
