Anybody else keep on going through these like they are candy? Thank god for NAPA lifetime guarantee. Pass. side ball joint and tie rod once; Driver's side tie rod twice, and now i need a third Driver's side ball joint!!!! I have a BAT suspension on there since my rear struts went bad about a 1 1/2 yr ago (suprise suprise) I would consider myself a moderate driver, I'm not an A**, but i do get on the gas every once in a while. The only thing i can think of is the OHIO roads (thanks ODOT ) Anyone else with this problem

Mind if I ask what the price difference between Napa and Moog was?? I replaced my driver's side ball joint in August (what a job!). I'd recommend Moog as they have the lifetime warranty and have a grease fitting on them. From the sound of it though, i'd say the BAT suspension is really screwing with the Napa ball joints.

I don't think I have ever heard of a Moog ... Is that national?..... And if it is the suspension, is there another aftermarket suspension that other ppl have used that doesn't think the rest of the front end is candy??

Nope RH tie rod only, (could have been from hitting a curb) Only recently replaced front struts. 155K miles Been lucky I guess....knock wood!
Was going to replace the LCA's with the struts but cheepoe'd out. worked the BJ's with channel locks & called OK. May replace the BJ's when it gets warm.

MOOG is the brand. Go and Google 'Moog Chassis Parts', and you'll find it on there. I believe the replacement ball joint was around $55 or so. A good front-end shop in your area should be able to tell you the name of a supplier. I have one down the street. If you do have these installed, just make sure you grease them after installation.

Seeing that I work at Napa myself, I can say that our chassis parts are actually made by Moog. They are just in a different box. Same with Napa oil, it is actually Valvoline, just in a different bottle.

Got the ball joint done, it actually was the one i had got from BAT. I must have sacrificed quality in the cheap price that i paid for it. IMO it's better to spend the extra cash and get the NAPA/MOOG ball joint as well as the other suspension components

No kidding!?
Well, I stand corrected. I get shop price on all of my Moog parts, so I still go with 'em... but it's good to know that Napa is the same thing
Thanks.
