when i park my car at night and get back in it to go i start it up and when i shift in gear and give it some gas the lights go dim for a second then come back to normal. and if i slide on ice or something slippery the lights go dim the heater blower slows down but if i sit there for a second it comes back on. it does this every time i start my car.
If your sliding on ice and hitting the brake, its the ABS kicking in. Assuming you have ABS. ABS takes a lot of power. It was like that on my moms Windstar, it was almost like the whole van had died, the radio even shut off for a few seconds.
