Well I finally beat it last night (been kind of lazy). I didn't unlock the wide body kit, but after I beat caleb it said the game was complete? Did I have to unlock it before then?

My Focus (first car, look ricey, but I wanted to get as many stars as possible early on)

My Rx-7 (used it for some of the last races)

My skyline (haven't raced much in it)

We were just playing this on Xbox... I got tired of my Focus with all it's level 2 stuff and got an A3, which was faster than my Focus with just stock stuff. I got it to 6 stars in no time after getting a bunch of unique parts. Finally got some level 3 upgrades and a unique ECM (don't think it helps much, but oh well). I can hit around 200ish in the A3 with boost.

My friend's Skyline maxes out at 217 (like some sort of rev limiter at around 10,000RPM).

Apparantly the Audi TT can have the fastest 0-100 time of less than 7 seconds... beats the Skyline by a few tenths. Found a list on some gaming site.

Also he has beaten it, but is only 60 something percent done. I guess you have to do all the SUV races during each level (sponsor) or you can't go back and do them again. Oops.

I completed the game just after christmas, it showed about 70% complete, so I went to the world map and played all the races I missed to get it up to 100%. I've still not unlocked the wide body kit yet, I've been told that on the xbox you have to race loads of cars on the street to unlock it but I've done 30+ and still nothing !!! One thing I did notice was when doing the last few races in the world map you don't get any money for winning the race. The only way to get money is to start a race and restart it after a few seconds and that way when you complete the race in first you still get your win money !! ( strange but it works )
So I'm at a loss to the wide body kit ! I've got 100% races complete, 100% parts unlocked and no races left to run, just cars around the streets !!!??? anyone any ideas ???
Oh and I found the 350z to be the best car !!

I beat that game like two months ago. I O3NED all with my Skyline. I wish I could take a screenshot of it.

I beat the game with a supra..but it still sais I've only finished 70% of the game

Best car on the game is the Celica but dont ask me why.

widebody kit is unlocked via an outrun street race. In the airport vicinity, IIRC, but I don't know if the location is always the same, or purely random. I have it on my Audi..

IIRC the wide body kit is only available on certain cars. Well, at least I could add it to some cars and not others.

I kept doing the outrun races until i unlocked 2 unique performance parts then some unique wide body kits. My car was the Tiburon and its top speed was 222 with 535 horses. I got alot of unique parts incluiding a unique ECU, suspension, weight stages, and Nitrous.

You have to do the outrun races throughout the game, not all at once expectung the unique parts. Its like x amount at stage one earns you ABC part, and so on and so forth. I beat the game, too, but figured out the outrun thing only after by researching on the 'net. It doesn't work when you are all done on stage five.
