thats not good. somebody prolly blew the motor and must've put some rediculously slow thing in their? what size is it, is it real slow?

I've seen plenty of SE sport with the L4. You can check with your VIN to be sure that it's suppose to have the L4.
Check in the FAQ to found which letter mean the engine code.
I think it's the 8th or 10th.

lol...im just messin with you man. yea the 2.0 zetec is a common motor, its actrually shared with the focus, escort ZX2, and the cougar. i had one in my old tour and it was always good to me.

ok thanks. i don't get why they keep saying the V6 is standard on that model though. standard usually means standard to me..

I never seen cougar with 4 cyl.
I think that they come factory with the V6.

i think they only came in zetec in 99 and after

hes talkin bout cougars niot contours, and yes they do come with zetecs, being its built off the contour/ mystique platform.
