After removing the door panels today to get dimensions to build sealed box's for my 6.5 midbass drivers, I was dissapointed to learn that its not going to happen.[just not enough room!]After checking out a thread on working with fiberglass I saw a posting by Tony D that contained a small artical on Aperiodic Membrane enclosures. Looks like these are the answer to my problem! However they did not go into enough detail for me. My qeustion is what to use for the membrane? They used fiberglass. What all materials can be used for the membrane? Apparentaly there is also some kind of tuning involved, How is this done? and what are you trying to achieve by this tuning? confused smile

I'm not sure what people have used but the tuning process is a process of adding more material and listening/measuring.

Aperiodic Membrane Enclosures don't always work. I rely also on a condom and the pill, otherwise you will have about 300 little monkeys running around after a couple years. Actually I hear the best thing to do is to "pull out" I have never tried this as I tend to fall asleep as it happens but I hear that it works very well too. smile
