You must be near Cornwall then?
I'm a 2 planker myself, I have too much talent to waste it on a snowboard.
2 planker here as well... except my planks are ancient (although it does mean I need not worry about them being stolen, in fact, it'd be nice if they were!)
I'm in the Kemptville area..

Skied from the time I was 12 to 18. Decided to give boarding a try because skiing got boring. Haven't looked back. My buddy Sharkey whos house those pics were taken even raced in HS. Jumped like me a few years back and hasn't looked back either. It's such a nice laid back fluid ride. We're more freeriders though. I'm tempted to try his new Alpine board to see what hard boots and an alpine board are like.
Just ordered this shirt.

LoL that's a good one. I'm also a skier turned boarder, so don't preach your foolishness to me! J/K, I like em both, but as todras said, snowboarding just offers such a laid back, yet constantly challenging and room for improvement alternative. I have no hate on skiers, in fact, most of the people I go up with ski, and we get along just fine. Course, they don't like going through powder quite as much as I do, but oh well. Plus I get to wear comfy boots. God I hated those ski boots..

Yea that shirt is in good fun. Anyone that dislikes the opposite of what they like to get down the hills on is idiotic. Do some resorts out west still ban boards? It really ticks me off to hear about ppl stereotyping each group. I remember when snowboarding just started to get rolling in the early 90's. It was like being black in the 60's. Okay maybe not quite that bad but you get the idea.

i ride a lamar contact x-wide 163, getting kinda old now tho. I tried skiing before and i think its like roller skates vs. roller blades: I think of ski's as old school now.
I have a season pass to perfect north, its in northern KY near cincinatti...anyone else go there?
wish i lived somewhere with better runs tho

I'm a two planker wanker. I only started skiing 3 years ago (at 20 no less) so I'm still amateur. Once I get skiing down to a T, I'll try the board.
Too lazy to learn that now anyway...

two girls... better than one! two beers... better than one... therefore, two planks are better than one! I ski and i'm proud of it. I'm actually writing this from my hotel room at Telluride... was doing some backcountry when i dropped a ski through two foot deep powder and blew out my knee I'm f'ing pissed. Now I have to cancel my trip to Steamboat, and while I'm still going to Jackson, I can't ski there Oh well, I can still apres ski with the best of 'em!!! btw, I currently ride Nordica skis/bindings with Rossi Soft1 boots, nice setup but not the greatest for really aggressive skiing and obviously not too great in powder Will likely upgrade to some Solomon Screams or Atomic Betas soon. I'll post pictures once I get back to high speed internet... for all that haven't been west, GO, and for all that have never been to Telluride, its remote as hell and pretty expensive, but its unfreakingbelievable!!! 67" of new snow since 1/4/05!!!

I can deal with the cold but give me some snow to play in PLEASE!
I totally agree. This fuggin blows!
However I do both but prefer the boarding.
