I searched, came up with nothing..
I'm trying to reduce rattle in my trunk and wanted to put some foam between my rear deck and the metal.. The only problem is, I don't know how to take the rear deck out. I have a 99 SE with no third brake light.
I'm not even sure if it's possible to remove it. I'm pretty sure it is though. So, if you can tell me how.. That'd be great. TIA

If you fold down the seats, you'll see some push pins. If you pry them out partially and then pull them out with pliers. You'll know what I mean when you see them.

i did a how to for this in the audio section i think.
anyways, pop up the bench seat. youll see 2 torx screws, one on each side attaching to the back of the seat. t45 or t50. take them out, then pull the seatback up and out. kinda tricky, you need a friend to help. there is a plastic/metal clip in the trunk that attaches to the seat and needs to be manuvered around. take a look at the whole thing and you will see. anyways, then pop out the plastic screws attaching to the rear deck and it will slide out. does not matter if you have fold down seats.
kind of a fast write up, but there ya go. any questions just ask.

Make sure you disconnect the wiring for the third brake lamp before you pull too hard.

its also easier if you remove the bolsters at the sides of the rear seat, not sure if that is the same if you don't have folding seats but it looks like it
