OK guys, recently I posted about having codes P0172 and P0175 saying that both banks were running rich. I tried cleaning the MAF and that didn't work, the light came back on, so I went out and bought a new PCV valve and figured I would throw that in. So I went out there today to put it in and when I was taking out that accordian tube I noticed that one of the hoses wasn't attached. Now I dunno if I knocked it out when I was taking stuff apart, but I don't think I did. Its the smaller hose on the side of the firewall. I am not sure what it goes to, but I was wondering if that would throw a code saying I am running rich?

Also, after I got it back together I started it and was playing with the throttle under the hood and I could hear air each time I messed with the throttle. It just sounded like it was air coming in through the filter, but I just wanna make sure that is normal and not a leak somewhere.

Thanks again guys for the help

The small hoses are the PCV fresh air hoses. Disconnecting one should cause a lean condition, not rich.

Yea, the CEL ended up coming back on, I can't figure out what the stupid problem is. Oh well I guess I gotta get back to figuring it out.

Thanks again
