Im new to the site and the forums so I figured I'll introduce myself and my car.
I'm turning 17 in about 5 days and about a month ago my uncle gave me his 95 GL V6 Contour Red(its a manual).This is my first car so I dont know much about cars, always wanted to learn though.I figured I'll make an account since I had some problems with my car (overheated--changed the water pump) and checked your archives and figured out whats up, So a big thank you to whoever replied to any overheating problems in the past 4? years.
The way my Uncle took care of the car, I'll probably be spending most of my time in the troubleshooting forum, so if anyone has any advice, ill be grateful for any help.

ive had mine for just over a year now, about 2500 dollars in repairs, but lets just put it this way, ive driven everything from a 1984 VW fox GL to a 2000 lexus ES 300, and 2500$ in a year with the way i drive lets just say im saving the big bux. car is perfect for somone young, youll love it and your lucky to have the ATX 2.5 ...

I think this is the first newbie who actualy searched before he posted. This kid gets two thumbs up Congrats on your new/first car. I wish a v6 with a 5speed was my first car. Anyways welcome. There is a ton of great info on the boards, esp. if you dont mind searching a bit.
