Are there turbo or supercharger systems made for the Zetec Contour or would any for a Focus fit?

Talk to LoCoZs/c if you have a Post97 Then you the Jackson Supercharger for the focus fits with modification.

BTW Henry Ford didnt invent the automobile, he simply made it affordable.

there are none specifically made for the contour, although I'm sure one could fit with minimal modding

although when u drop around 5K on a turbo kit, u'd kinda want it to be plug and play so I'd just go custom if I was in that position.

To me, the JRSC is just like that starter bike that you're gonna replace in a few months with something faster...but hell if u can get one cheap, why not!

check out this thread with the info on when Locoz fitted his JRSC - gives details of the minor mods he had to do to make it fit.

http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=zetecperf&Number=691359&page=4&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=186&fpart=1

its a fairly cheap and simple installation which doesnt need internals upgraded and specialist assistance (like you would for a turbo) and it seems that the mpg is still pretty nice, turboed zetecs have pretty poor mpg. plus the JRSC can be easily run from a chip, unlike a turbo which needs more complex management.

its 4PSI as standard, and can be upped to 8PSI with the different S/C pulley but really needs bigger injectors and MAF to work properly on higher boost. and water injection would be handy for the higher boost.

its a shame the JRSC doesnt have a intercooler and it looks virtually impossible to put one on it without major work. the vortech does have a I/C but Locoz tried the Vortech kit on his zetec and it wouldnt fit properly.

hopefully pretty soon i will be the first mondeo with a JRSC!

Thanks for typing.

Snow water/meth injection is next on my list....then more boost.

When it comes to forced air, what is the hardware difference between Return and NonReturn fuel types? What I understand, with return style, a progressive fuel regulator is used. Maybe the question should be OBO 1 vs OBO 2 or '95 vs the rest.
If there is a link , post it for me.
