I have a 97 contour and i want to replace the front and rear speakers, but i don't know what size speakers to buy, if u know, it'd help a lot, thanx

All four stock speakers in all Contours are 6x8.

5x7's will fit in the holes pretty well, and are much more common. obviously not a perfect fit, but they work.

I think the stock speakers in my 96 were 5x7's.

get6x9's some drilling, but better sound

make 6x8 plates and use 6 1/2 components or 5 1/4s - much better linear bass and resonance from the plates!
