ok im new to the contour world and i noticed the rear speakers are in the doors. and it sounds really bad. you cant really hear them and when you fade to the back, its really muddy. is there a good solution to making it sound better because it doesnt seem like new speakers would help. its just poor placement on the hands of ford.

any suggestions? comments?

Unhook them, put some components up front, and throw a sub in the trunk. Problem solved. wink

There isn't much you can do with it. I used to have speakers in the back dash of Mean Green but removed them as it really ruins the soundstage. In my next car I will bypass them altogether as they are quite useless.
