OP Arsenal CEG\'er A Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 60	driving home today, the light came on for no apparent reason. No rain or puddles ect. Anyways, defintely a loss in power. Got home, disconnected the battery, started her up and the light off. Anyone had this done, searched for a while, thinking maybe the MAF sensor needs a clean, 98 CSVT 2.5 85K miles.

There are dozens of reasons a CEL can come on, without the actual codes we can be of no help. OP Arsenal CEG\'er A Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 60	Well mine hasn't come back on yet. Stupid me erased the codes by reseting the ECU so the shop couldn't check the memory. Seems to be running fine now though. touch wood.

JAWSVT Newbie J Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 5 Springfield, MO.	I'm fighting my CEL too and I have a code p0401 which is insufficient EGR flow. And the wierd part is that I replaced all EGR pieces and the damn CEL is still on! Good luck.
