I have the SVT for 4 months. I changed the front pad, battery, plugs and wire. IMRC module replaced. TB Cleaned and replaced PCV. In general, the car runs well.
Last month, I have the CEL code P0402 (bank1 pre-cat). Cleared the code and the car is running good, no hestitation, no loss of power.
Last week, CEL code P0302, cleared the code, (miss fire Cyl#2)the car idles fine, no hestitation. I took it to 6k rpm and runs well. I do not get any sign of misfiring at all.
I really don't why the CEL so sensitive. CEL lights up when the car is running fine. Is it possible the gasoline. Normally I fill up with Esso 91. But I find fill up with c-tire 91 gas, the car runs better. Any suggestion on which gas company is the SVT's choice.
Since the code never come back, is it okay to ignore it till spring, I wait until warmer weather then check out the plug and and gas filter.
How can I check if the coil pack problem, may be the snow/water ended up on top of the coil pack.
