I was watching Pimp my Ride last night, and they took an Escort and put a BMW front bumper on along with what they referred to as the BMW "cat lights" or "cat lamps". Basically they have the look of the Cougars. Is there anything out there like that for the Contours? Are they certain bulbs or is it an entirely new enclosure? I love that look...

yes people have done it to some tours. and i know there is a general howto someone made that is floating around the internet.

I agree, for the most part, the show is stupid - they upgrade everything in a 15 year old car except the engine...what's the point in doing $10,000 worth of mods to the interior of a car that old without touching the engine which will probably end up dying a week later...
(What's the point in putting $10,000 in a car that old PERIOD though?)

I would think they would have to do something with the motor. It is only a 30min show so I think the focus is on the pimping. The only one I have liked was the Subrban they did. Most of the cars they do some stupit mod like a ball washer (for your bowling balls) and a fire place in a blazer. But they didn't on that one. They did put 6 big monitors in the floor.
