Believe it or not, Pledge furniture polish will help keep polished SS and chrome clean and will help with clean up the next time. I got this tip from a guy who's been doing custom exhaust systems for about 25 years.

Please do not do this. I was curious about that pledge stuff so I looked up the components of Pledge and found its CAS number. It contains Acetic Acid man(IIRC, ph =3ish). DO NOT USE strong ACIDIC solutions on SS. If anything use an Ammonia-based solution. Hell, I'd say don't waste your $$ w/that fancy crap. Use vinegar to clean it(ph=4/5).
