I have a 99 CSVT antd yesterday and a few other times my Ebrake will not disengage. It usually does this when it's really cold (0 Celsius).

The service manager at Richport Ford has told me she's seen lots of contours have to get towed in because of this problem so if it's happened to you and you want thies problem to get fixed please call and report it to them.

I talked to Ford of Canada and they said they have never heard of this before so if it has happened to you call 1-800-565-3673 and i know if enough people call they will do something about it.

Yeah I was concerned when I let my brother play in a church parking lot and do some snow driving. I heard about it before so espected the worst. I realized, thankfully, the button jammed in the aluminum handle. Needless to say I was relieved and had one less chance to blame my little brother for breaking something.
