Need to cut the VSS signal going into the ECU.
Of course that causes some problems with the ECU.
And of course the speedometer won't work.

my zetec mtx topped off at 128.... in 5th gear.  i think im ECU limited at 140.... in 6th.

What is the SVTF drag limited to (bone stock)?

I am still wondering.
Should be able to find a Superchip for less than $100.
Send to KKM (or any another dealer) and get it reprogrammed for your ECU code for $40.
If you have an ATX, it will greatly improve shifts. (This is worth the money alone)
You will morethan likely gain a few HP/TQ, but nothing your going to notice.
Best to mod the car, then get the chip custom tuned.
Unless you know what oyu're doing, and have the proper tools, don't try to tune on yor own.

hey hector i was reading through the archives and i came across some threads when you were debating whether of not the s/c would fit and there was one guy who kept telling you that you were waisting your money blah blah blah it wont work blah blah the gains arent there blah blah....so i was wondering what ever happened to him???

The S/C don't fit. Mine is just digitally added in.
