hey whats up i have a 99 svt contour and had the trans rebuilt already 2 times in the last year and a half and i dont even really drive the car hard.The thing that really sucks i had a warrenty until about 500 miles ago that would have covered now i know i am not supossed to do this but i am looking to roll my miles back 500 miles. My question is there anyway they could find out if i did this or if i did would my miles continue to roll or will they just stop or i could just replace the hole guage cluster with one with couple hunder less miles.If someone could jst help me out thanx alot

look i am not asking you guys to do it work me or anything i am over my warrenty bye less then 300 miles and now my contour sits in the driveway not able to move it sucks. i am not asking you to come help me do it just if there is a way and jacking it up and putting it in reverse dosent really work right

Unfortnately its called being SOL. Who knows, contact the dealership and see if they'll hook you up. some dealerships will do warranty work when your just a tick over the mileage. Originally posted by 99svtcontour:

Definitely call and see what they can do.. Can't remember what they call it, but it's for customer relations.. They'll make you pay a small portion, but they may cover ~80% of the total bill.

can someone please tell me why are trans suck so bad i mean to have a trans rebuilt 3 times in 40 thousand miles it [censored] up i have my car but i am starting to hate it at the same time
