hi guys, got 1 for x mas and i was just wondering something. When i went to install it it came with a diagram of which wires to plug in each slot. When looking at the diagram of where to connect the wires i then noticed how my original were pluged in different places. Also i went to the haynes manual and its differnt from the accel directions. Haynes(accel v8) 1-3 2-4 accel early 4cyl 4-3 1-2 accel late 4cyl 4-2 1-3 Rigth now my car is in the haynes direction since thats how the original plugs came like, and drove around fine. I was just wondering if anyone else treid it in the different ways and whats beter for the car. Thanks guys

Stock ignition coil performs as good as any aftermarket coil. No need to replace unless stock is going bad.

Seriously? The stock coil pack is as good as an Accel or an MSD?

That's cuz pistons fire twos at a time. But it will only run RITE if plugs r rite. So u get misfire on X cylinder, you got plugs wrong, computer sees it all wrong, car not running rite.

The Accel puts out 5% more spark voltage than the stock, and 10% more than the MSD. Stock coil puts out 5% more than the MSD.
So if you can get an Accel cheap, or free/present, its the best way to go.
Its good for smother idle and high rev spark timing. But will net no power gains.
Best option fo F/I.
