so i got the crutchfield amp bypass kit and the metra kit to put the oem tape player back in the 95 gl. This shouldn't be a problem. i'm putting the jensen hu from the 95 into the svt.
do u guys have any tips or things i should look out for? i have the intructions from crutchfield. is it basically following them. the bypass harness has a ton of wiring. will i need it all. can i snip some of it off? i'm doing this tomorrow (saturday).
if going to be putting in the dash clock while i'm messing w/ the wiring and radio.
...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

they must give you a mile of wire...no you probably only need 3 feet of it and that's being generous. The excess does come in handy for other do it yourself projects though.

I paid $20 + $4.95 for S/H when I ordered it a while back. It included all of the necessary wiring harnesses for installing your stereo, the amp bypass harness, radio removal tools, and detailed instructions for everything stereo related (HU, amp bypass, antenna replacement, speaker replacement front/rear).
