I have heated drivers seats in both cars. They are no gimick. The warm up time differs between the leather and the cloth seats. The cloth heating up super fast. Either way I am very glad I have done this mod. I have used recaro's for the install for the record.

Climate controlled seats are an option on some Lincolns (such as LS and Navagator, maybe others). I think it may be available now on some Ford products as well. The seat material is perferated to allow air flow and both front seats have little heat pumps in them that can either heat or cool.

My 03 Escape Limited came with heated seats. It is not often that it is needed or desirable to use, but when it's cold enough they are really nice. The seat gets warm long before the heater becomes effective and takes the chill out of cold weather driving very quickly.

Now if only i could pop some of those into the stique. That would make the hellaciously hot leather liveable in the summer.

I wish i had money.

I bet we could get the LS seats to fit in our cars; assuming width is similar....everything else could be accommodated.

I've been driving a 2004 Nissan Maxima SL, w/ a Heater Steering Wheel.

A piece of heaven.

I think that is exactly his problem, b/c if chill is taken out only 1110 is left. and that would be totally uncool
