I am most likely going to be looking for new struts soon and i was wondering on any opinions of the KYB GR2 struts, because they are the best fit in my price range so i'm just wondering as to how they are, i will be using Eibach pro's with these struts. Any pics are welcomed. Thanks for any help. ~Alex

Wouldn't use them with aftermarket spring. They are only good for stock spring rates.

You'll find that the words "budget" and "Contour" are usually mutually exclusive...

Your local speed shop is quite clueless I see.
GR-2's are a quality stock replacement for STOCK struts. Yes STOCK and not even SVT level valving.
You are NOT getting a performance strut and NOT getting one made for lowering springs. Your performance and longevity will being significantly reduced verses an appropriate strut. Yes of course they will still work but there are notable trade offs.

if your on that much of a budget you shouldn't lower your ride. Unless you want performance for 15000 miles and then put new struts in again.
