what size bulbs does the svt contours fog lights take?? anyone know?

Stock is 893. Many use 885 instead which is brighter (37w vs 50w). Some have reported that the 885 will damage the housing is used constantly. I use 885 but I don't use them all that much.

While I cannot specifically recall whether the correct 37 watt bulbs are the 885s or 893s, you might do a search based on those numbers to get confirmation. While both fit, the wrong one is a 50 watt bulb, and many old posts were done about the plastic fog lenses overheating/melting when the 50 watt bulbs were used. HTH

now what wattage do i need so i dont fry my harness's and housing..

37 watts is stock, you can do 50, but some people have melted their housing w/ those.
See BigJim's post above, I belive it is a different bulb number for a different wattage.
