How about you say for what wheel size and what you want outta the tires. We're not psychics.

You might want to go with a wider tread patch; 195-60/14 are what I had on my car.

I presume you use your car as a daily driver too. Go with a good touring tire. Hit tirerack.com and check out the Yokohama AVID TOURING tire. Was a fantastic tire for me & my daughter. Only better tire I could find with the desired characteristics was the Bridgestone Turanza LST - which I just replaced on my car. The Yoks were smoother & quieter, but man the Bridgestone never gave up, always gripped when I needed them most.

Both of those are 70,000 or 80,000 mile tires - excellent value & good all around performance.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

That tire is way too large. Speedo will be off big-time. Better if you take the profile down a bit.

205/55-14 should be just about spot-on!

Actually 215/60/14 is almost dead on match for speedo. I don't know if that wide of a tire will fit the stock wheels though.

82 is the load rating and h is the speed rating, see here:

Service Description
The service description consists of two things:

Load Ratings: The load rating is a number that correlates to the maximum rated load for that tire. A higher number indicates that the tire has a higher load capacity. The rating "105," for example, corresponds to a load capacity of 2039 pounds (924.87 kg). A separate note on the tire indicates the load rating at a given inflation pressure.

Speed Rating: The letter that follows the load rating indicates the maximum speed allowable for this tire (as long as the weight is at or below the rated load). For instance, S indicates that the tire can handle speeds up to 112 mph (180.246 kph). See the chart on this page for all the ratings.

site full of details about those pesky numbers on our tires
