ok.. so the other nite i was out in 14 inches of snow. i got stuck 3 times, 2 of which were not for bery long, but the third time was prolly for 20 minutes or so. then, yesterday i got stuck in my driveway again for a few minutes. now when i drive, as soon as i get near 50 mph, my car shakes, and then about 55mph, it shakes so much it feels like its gonna fall apart! did i do somehting to the differential? or just the alignment? any solutions?

I found this too. You've probably knocked your wheel balance(s) off. Even if you haven't lost a weight, its likely that the extra snow/ice in the wheels makes them unbalanced. Try to clean the snow and ice off (warm water is best, since it gets behind the wheel, and gets all that off too). Note that you need to do this in a way it won't refreeze, such as a garage until they are dry again.

That happened to me last year, I was driving to work after a storm on the highway and the car started to shake wickedly. I pulled over and knocked about a 1lb chunk of snow/ice from my spokes. It wads fine after that. Even just a tiny bit more weight on one wheel can unbalance the car severly.

That just happened tonite with my moms Exploder, we were driving out to Howell for a x-mas eve party, her car would just shake bad at like 60mph. We knocked off frozen snow, and ice out of the wheel well, it kinda helped it, but I nudged a curb the night before becuz we've had like 7 inches of snow. I think I might of knocked that tire of balance.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

Check to see if your traction control light is going nuts when this occurs? Mine did this aswell. We got 8" of snow, and in the neighborhood, I got stuck at some parts, and the car would shake and shudder like crazy, however I noticed the traction control was going off at the time. BTW, now it drives fine...so your problem may be the wheel being outof balance.
