I wouldn't put anything that looked like it came from the general's camp. That other dual would look a bit out of place too. Why not get a y-pipe and have duals ? Certainly not needed on a Zetec, but it would look better ..

Dual exhaust on a Zetec? Oh well. I can't talk. It's no worse than factory pseudo-duals on an SVT, and I've got the "SVT" Borla, soooo.......
I don't like the Camaro tips, even on a Camaro. The dual outlet pipes don't look too bad. Might be nice, but that makes 4 holes on the back... Better than the rectangular monstrosity, but still...
I'd take it to a shop and delete the rear Y. Go down to one pipe on the right side of the car, and maybe use the dual-outlet pipe if you like it. That would give it more of a European flair. Or, have the shop install a downturn at the end and hide it all under the rear.
JMHO.
Function before fashion.

Well if your trying to figure out what to do. With my V6 I have full magnaflow exhaust from Y pipe back with 2.5" piping. Finished off like this: I can't beleive you would want to put a dual exhaust on a Zetec. Wouldn't the pipe size have to be 1.25" from the Y split to the tips out the rear? If the stock is 1.75" single.

First, Fake Duals are usually better looking you should agree, and many 4cyl have fake duals = SRT, Tiburon, etc.
Secondly, Why would the diameter shorten when you Y the pipe? I'm an exhaust noob

i have ther SVT dual exaust on my zetec, and it sounds way better tyhan you might think, it doesnt have the angry bees sound or anything, i dont even have a resonator on it and the only time it rasps is when it shifts and when the engine is warming up. if i would put new mufflers on it it would be Dual DTM style mufflers with the curved tips running up the bumper...that would be hott!
