Ok 3 liter guru's...Need a sugestion.

I have a 1999 SVT with a 3 liter swap....Well i keep breaking the transmount on the driver side located under the air cleaner.

What do you guys do to solve this problem. Iv tried everything, except cryo treating the bolt that continues to snap off consistantly. (its the bolt that goes underneath and though the middle of the rubber mount.)

It has been a while since this was last brought up (that i remember) and i searching did not seem to net me anyhting...atleast anything that seemed to be a solution.

What is your guys advice on this situation, and how do i correct this problem?

Lupe

EDIT: i know this may belong in transaxle section, but i i felt by posting here i would get a better response form the 3 liter communtity, who i know have experienced this problem, probably in more instances than most.

I apologize, and if it must be moved , then plase do so.

I would guess your powertrain is significantly out of alignment.

Either that or your other mounts are damaged/weak. Less likely.

You should not be shearing bolts.
