heres a stupid guestion, i looked in the arcives and couldnt find anything on it. but my 95 tour has two keys one for the doors and inigtion(sp) a seconed key for the trunk and glove box, but my friend sara's 96 tour only has one key that does all of that. why is that

Probably because FoMoCo finally caught on to the majority of other car manufacturers out there. I have a 95 GL and I hate having 2 keys for one car...

I was kinda miffed on that one . . .

I kinda like only having one key - but at the same time two keys is that much harder to tamper/steal a car

i guess its for if you have a valay (sp) servise but why dont all tours have them

Its not valet - its an ignition key and a lock key.

I think they changed in 96??

I am a baffoon - sorry - I was thinking of my F-150

It prob was a valet type key

thats what i thought but i still dont know why every tour isnt the same
