Recently my girlfriend enlisted my help to find her dad a gift. Now Because his birthday Xmas and aniversary all fall within a 3 day period this gift has to be NICE. I don't know the man very well but i know he likes radio control cars. The downside to this is his wife wont let him keep any because she thinks it's childish. Also i'm told that he is computer and tecnology illiterate so those gifts are out. Tools i hear are also out because he has no time to do anything anyways. Because computers/gadgets and cars are all i know and care about this is turning into a very hard quest. So if anyone has a great gift idea for thier dad or even just a suggestion and can help me out by shareing i would be very gratefull. And My girlfriend will be greatfull too .

Hmmm... well i got my dad vise grips, 3/8 inch ratchet and a screw driver set. TOOLS... it's to easy. Is he into any sports teams, any outdoor activities... like hunting, or fishing or anything?

Food. Mail-order steaks, beer of the month club, big dinner out, something like that.

Divorce papers would be a good gift.

In retrospect, it was all downhill from here. RIP, CEG.

Jeez - no tools, alcohol, tobacco, food, no car-related stuff- why not just buy him a dress! (Or a nice fluffy bag for his wife to keep his... er dignity (-ies) in!)
