my 18's are almost double the weight of my stock 16's on the gtp

cost me around .2 in the 1/4

then again the gtp has double the crank tq as the 2.5

The best is to get ahold of steel wheels...

get the wheels off of a FD or MX-5.

they are the lightest production rim that i've found that are still durable.

Put your stockies back on, take anything unnecessary out, and do it again. I can guarantee at least a half second improvement

well i would say that guarantee was just about right on track! i went to the track tonight and.....alright well i tried to post the slip but it wouldn't work so i will post the numbers and see what i can do about the slip.

A. Hayes
0484 Entry
0.500 Tree Speed
0.00 Dial-In
0.524 Reaction Time
2.249 60 Ft.
8.922 594 Ft.
74.72 MPH
9.524 660Ft.
I had another 9.5.. but that one above was the fastest. I also ran a 9.6 2X and one 9.7. A total of 5X.

i am very satisfied with these numbers...and oh yah list of mods...Intake with heat sheild.
Headers (weapon-r )
Trubendx y-pipe
Borla 2.25" exhaust
Clutch, Lightened flywheel, Torsen.
Stock 16" wheels and tires.
I can't wait to see the times with a 3L or something like that(traction ???). I really like the fact i got this time on a proven [censored] track and with no SVT parts...

PS. Did i mention it was fun!

you think it would be high 14's? i am not sure if i could get high 14's without having the SVT stuff to help me on down the track(1/4 mile that is).
