didnt have much success searching and thought this would be a good post for those torn btw which of the 510's to buy.

Looking for pics of both the PIAA 510 ION Cystal fogs and also the Super White Driving on their car? All pics are wanted. Frontal shots taken back toward the car as well as pics of what the lighting output differnce btw these two are. Please post pics that show the diffent beams of light so the distance, color, etc. can be compared.

Thanks in advance.

I have a bunch in my sig. I don't think I have any night shots though. I have the superwhites and love them!

If you want somethign useful for everyday driving, I'd recommend the superwhites. If you actually encounter fog on a regular basis get the yellow.

E-mail me or PM me if you want I can probably get some night shots sometime this weekend!

They're great. I wouldn't buy em again tho.

Buy some cheapies from Murray's, just make sure they use the h3 bulbs (I think) and use a glass lense. At any rate, get the PIAA bulbs and seal up the enclosure really well. Stazi has gone this route. The PIAA bulbs burned out right away, I have silverstars in there now.

Looking back I would do the above.

What did you ever do about your fried wires? Was that from the PIAAs? PIAAs look awesome, but for the price, I'd rather do that cheapo APC junk from any autoparts store.

Superwhites:

I'm very satisfied and pleased with them. I've had them since mid summer with no problems. If there is a downside, it's that they are so bright they have to be aimed way down in front as to not blind oncoming traffic. They still do an awesome job. I could drive with them only and see fine.

Wow, those things are bright. Is it just a bulb, also how much do they run?

I got these in a GB this summer. You can look through it for the price. Before the GB got going, I priced them a couple of places for over $200.

yep - quality products cost money - nothing new there -

I have a set of FET Ion Fogs - New they were around $400 IIRC - I got them for free and now they dont even import FET any more in the US. I think that even in their used condition they are still worth at least $200 - they are so damn brite i only have them on in winter. (I used to get too much trash from the po po - havnt tried them so far since I started working for them . . .)
