where can i get the specs and info on the blueprints with their site down? i've surfed and surfed and searched and searched.

i'm interested in putting a single 10" [i'm old smile ] in my trunk and i want to know what size enclosure and what type and power of amp i'll need. i don't want to spend a ton of cash but if i can do this for under $500 (including amp, sub and enclosure) i'd be juiced.

i have a sony CDX-M770 HU, and poineer TA-685 (plated components) in the front doors and TS-A6895 (two way with compression horn tweeter) in the back doors being powered by the deck and i'm happy with this but now i need some bass.

I just got home from getting mine installed and let me tell you, I'm impressed. I have a single 1001 "79.00" running off a PG qx2180 "105.00" in a .66 cu ft subzone enclosure "55.00" Total= 239.00 Outstanding sound quality and gets pretty low too.

I don't have the specs in front of me, but I think Dave has said the 1002 model will work in as small as .25cu ft sealed, but .5-.75 would be better. How much power to give them? 100-300w is plenty so $100-$250 for good amps in that range. Box, if you build it yourself for $20, that'll put you well under budget and it will sound very nice.

I'd recommend pretty much what Vinny got. It's a very nice little combination for not a lot of cash.

thanks guys!!
one question vinny - "G qx2180" whatz that? confused i don't know amp manufacturers that well so please spell it out for me. laugh

so i go with a .66 cf enclosure (sealed i assume) and that leaves me with about $300 for an amp. suggestions? i know nothing about sub woofers, so i'm going to need to know what kinda power, wiring setup (i.e. ohms and bridges and caps and blah blah blah laugh ) again i want to stay small and unobtusive. power is good big is bad wink

thanks. sorry for all the questions, but hey that's why we do these forum thingies, right.
