OP rgreasy_dup1 New CEG\'er R Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 40 Orland, Ca	Just What is the problem if the heater resistor keeps going out about after you replace it,,, changed the fuse and it worked for about 6 days and blower fan quit again, could it be the switch or what,, thanks again.

If you are blowing the resistor pack repeatedly, replace the blower motor also next time. It is pulling too much current. Had three of these fail previously & replaced with "updated" item over a year ago & hasn't failed since....my $.02.... Is the smoke alarm in your house also known as the dinner bell?
