Where would I be able to find the sensor for the guage, because it is not working. Can there be a different problem than a bad sensor for the guage to sit just down and not work. Please be descriptive on the location of the sensor because I am not that good with this engine just yet. Thanks A TON

Which sensor? The coolant sensor is in the thermostat housing, IIRC.

Inspect the fuse - # maybe in owners manual Then Measure the Ohms resistance across the sensor when cold and warm and hot. No change means - shes a dead 68* F 35.0 - 40.0 K ohms 212* F 1.9 - 2.5K ohms To find the sensor Find the Radiator, locate the Large hose at the Drivers side of the rad. Follow the hose to a rectangular box. This is the Thermostat housing. There is a big hose running out the other side of it. On the top of the rectangular box there is a sensor. A wire harnes plugs into it. It may be hidden by the Air Box.

Thanks for the help, I will try to locate it and check if it is dead, and if it is dead how much would a new one run and what would I be looking for at the auto store?

The sensor on top of the thermostat housing is the ECU's temp sensor. The sensor you are looking for is on the front side. Its somewhat difficult to see. There are two hoses that cross the engine over to the passenger side, one small and up high (goes to the tank) the other is thicker and down lower (goes across the exhaust manifold). Follow the thicker one back to the thermostat housing. With you looking at the engine, the sensor is to the left of where that pipe comes out, facing down at about a 45 degree angle.

It's tough to get at so make sure the car is cool when you check it because othrwise you're sure to burn your hands on the manifold. They are only $10.00 new for Auto Zone.
