I went looking for the black steel rims to buy with some snows for the SVT. At the parts store I went to it only listed 14" for the contour.
What size steel rims are people using?

I use 99 SE Sport wheels
for your SVT you need at least 15" wheels to clear the brakes, check tirerack out
- 95 Mystique LS - Zetec/5spd

I have 15" steels with snow tires. I bought them used but any good shop should be able to get them for you. Try asking for 15" steels for a Focus.

Just went to tirerack... no steelies available  They wanted to sell me Mille Miglias as their preferred snow package LOL! I might just end up getting 16" snows for my stock wheels which would force me to get new wheels/tires in the spring  "But sweetie, I NEED new 17" Focus wheels and tires... I can't drive on snow tires all year round"

that is how I ended up getting my FSVT 17's, the tires the previous owner had on the car were crap, I hated them and so did my father, they didn't feel that safe they were so cheap, so we ditched those and parents bought snow tires on the fact I would buy wheels and tires in the spring then I get the one season used snow tires for this winter
well that worked out just about, but for now I put our old set of snows on the Mystique as my tires were just about shot and I couldn't drive with those tires in the snow, plus I have alot of highway driving to and from school when I do head home
