My transmission slips kinda bad from 2nd to 3rd right now after I changed my transmission fluid. It also has a suddle 3rd to overdrive slip but it has had the 3rd to overdrive slip for 18k miles without a problem of it getting worse. Autozone says my egr valve is shot and I have a bad VSS I found a dissconnected wire that was touching the frame of the car but I reatched it but it may have been grounded out for awhile it is one of the 3 wires that goes to the VSS. I have 1995 ford contour 2.0 auto. The tranny slip is worse when its cold but settles down when it warms up.
