I just got my car back because of an electrical problem two weeks ago and now something else is wrong. I was driving along this morning and out of nowhere it just started rolling ago and would not accelerate. Pulled over to the side and now it just sits there! Step on the gas and all it does now is make a reving noise. I don't want my car anymore! It spends more time in the shop than it does on the road. Some one please give me an idea on what is wrong with my car this time.

The weird thing is that I went back during my lunch to check in on my car, since I left it were it stopped, and I turn on the car, put it in drive, and guess what it actually started to roll forward. Unfortunately it only accelerated for a minute and then it just rolled till it lost momentum. Turned it off again, put it in drive and the same thing happened, worked for a minute and then it just won't accelerate! Tried this a few more times and then on the fifth time it didn't want to accelarate at all. So it's stuck there again a feww feet from the original spot.

I would at first check the obvious...like is your tranny fluid level ok? Does it smell burnt? or have you tried it in another gear to see if it moves? Seems like it could be tranny related...take a look at those things and report back what you find. Whats your mileage and have you had regular tranny flush ect...those things will help better diagnois the problem your having. Always seems things go bad just when you think they cant get any worse.Sorry to hear of your problems...but let us know what you find, and maybe someone can advise you more.

My tranny fluid level is normal and no it doesn't run in all the gears. It will only run when I first start the car and then it only runs for a few second and then it just revs. The car has 107,000 miles on it. I had a tranny flush in January.

Some times when it doesn't accelerate if I keep my foot on the gas pedal for awhile it will pop back it to gear but still only for a minute and then it goes back to not accelerating. I have no idea what is wrong, hopefully some one on here does!

Go back to the electrical work, check wiring and connectors, grounds. Check or replace the trans range sensor switch, located on the top of the trans, that's what I would do if faced with that problem. Might want to scan obd codes too. Or try to find a competent trans shop.
