OP Titan The Dragon CEG\'er T Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 53 Pennsylvania	I have noticed 2 other posts in the forums with similar problems to mine. One is the an odd pinging that from another post "sounds like a spark plug". They also have poor gas mileage. Myself and another post have come to the conclusion of Tune up. Also come to a conclusion of poor, no, or crappy EGR performance. Has anyone else had this problem? Around 200 Miles per tank? Funny noise? And how did you figure it out?

smooth99se New CEG\'er S Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 42 Ranson WV	My car has the pinging but I'm not sure what it is but the gas mileage is great. 2.5l and I get about 350 miles per tank. I average about 26 miles per gallon. If i run around town i'm still getting low 20's. Engine is completely stock though. How can I replace the egr and where is it? 1999 Contour SE Sport 39,xxx Miles 20% tint, Yokohama AVS tires 205/60/15 Aiwa cd player 1988 Ford F-150 4x4 31/10.50/15 mudders 2 10" Subs, Clarion Cd Roll pan, bed cover, black outs all 4 corners 5% tint,Dual flowmaster's, K&N filter

OP Titan The Dragon CEG\'er T Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 53 Pennsylvania	I don't think you need to do anything to your EGR if you are getting around 26 mpg or even lower 20s. I'm getting 16-17 mpg.
