Well I am debating if its time to take my contour to the junk yard because its getting messed up very bad. The side quaterpanel is all smashed in the hood only has the safty latch cause i had to cut the cable the hood has like 3 decent bumps in it due to the oversized battery terminal. I had to drill the trunk keyhole out. My side panel behind the rear window is all ripped up cause i thought i could get into my car one time when i locked my keys in the car. The heat dont work, there is decent valve noise when 1st started but settles down, the egr valve is shot, the mass airflow sensor is shot, theres a hole in the flex-pipe, the trans slips when cold mainly from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to overdrive, I have 3 different tire sizes/rims on it needs a front end alignment needs a new drive axle, engine stalls around when floored when the rpms get up there, there is no radio, i only have 1 working wiper blade, 1/4 of the rear defrost works, no spare tire, it overheats all the time, there are many more problems with it tranny bangs around mishshifts and other poopie things had to replace tranny fluid 3 times in the 9 months I have had it. I bought this car 9 months ago and put on 18k miles I bought it for $130 and replaced the coil springs with junk-yard assemblys for $11. and a new range sensor $25 and a alternator $50 at junk yard. but I drive like a mainiac alot of the times so I guess I got what I deserved. Think this would be to much money to spend on this 1995 ford contour gl 2.0 auto with no options besides power mirrors with 158k miles? Junk yard or fix up? Help me decide
Thanks,
Kyle
