It came on the other day but prior to that my car had been running a little sluggish, bogging and such. I had my whole my fuel system cleaned out and I suppose it helped a little but then a while later my engine light finally came on.

I had a friend of mine that has a diagnostic computer check it out and it gave me a timing code.

Anyone have a clue. As for the bogging it seems to happen as I am driving at regular speeds. The car just jumps a little??? or seems to skip something???? Normally if I am a gear lower then I should be while getting on the highway it happens also. I hope that is enough info.

Thanks

If you have the code number, we can give you a better idea.

I am sure there are many timing codes, either go to autozone and have the code read or if you are close to CT zip code 06269 I can read the codes for you
