I have a few questions for those of you who have installed carbon fiber hoods:

1. Do you use the front hood latch mechanism? Or do you use the pins?

2. How hard to hook up the wiper fluid jets?

3. Does the hood stand still work?

4. How hard to attach the hinges?

5. How long should I expect this to take?

I have one coming

Thanks

Wijn

1.Both.

2.Your dog could do it.

3.Yes.

4.You will need a helping hand.

5.~20-30 min hood swap. FOREVER aligning it.

1.Latch
2.Removed
3.Yes
4.Not hard, just need people to help hold hood
5.Atleast an hour to get it on, latching, and looking good. Might have to move fenders a little.
